We Finally Stopped Slacking on our Final Fantasy 9 Tribute Album
I know you've all been waiting with bated breath for Peribang news. Well, I am happy to tell you the old, as in we did a thing recently and I didn't get around to posting it here. Anyway, Drew and I (Moire Effect) made a Final Fantasy 9 tribute album. A few (okay, several) years ago we participated in a FFIX compilation with the Pixel Mixers and had always wanted to create more songs to flesh out an album's worth of material. FFIX is one of our personal favorites in the series and was certainly overlooked in its time. After six years of procrastinating, we finally got around to finishing the EP and it is available on all major streaming platforms.
We had a lot of fun playing with different genres and doing our take on the original material. As always, much appreciate to Nobuo Uematsu for his contributions to the artistic realm. Enjoy and let us know what you think. Which track(s) do you like best?
